The mental global digital art energy provided a platform for a series I had been developing for a long time in my life. The illustrations and sculptures born from this time in space opened my eyes to new combinations and forms of expression.

The illustrations and sculptures born from this time in space opened my eyes to new combinations and forms of expression.

This type of eyewear is inspired by the traditionally used eyewear by the Inuit and the Yupik peoples of the Arctic. They prevent snow blindness and I find them helpful in preventing actual snow in your eyes.
In Central Yupik language also called nigaugek, nigauge, ilgaak or iggaak. Some Inuit goggles or made from caribou antler with caribou sinew for a strap. Inuit snow goggles from 1800 found in Alaska, had been made from carved driftwood (especially spruce), bone, walrus ivory or in some cases seashore grass. The workpiece is carved to fit the wearer’s face, and one or more narrow horizontal slits are carved through the front. The goggles fit tightly against the face so that the only light entering is through the slits, and soot is sometimes applied to the inside to help cut down on glare.

Here to make a great entrance I have been closely working together with the interior architect who respects minimalism with flavor and sea fish illustrations were created while researching all the species rooming the baltic waters.
